I was going to experiment with this one but wanted feedback first. Anyone familiar with it? I want to love it, and that second set looks epic. Unfortunately some reviews say it's not that great. I have a feeling this is hot girl in the bar and the next morning you see the "real thing". You guys/gals have good insight so any reviews would be appreciated before I invest the time and potentially be disapointed.

it's not as good as 12-31-1978 naturally or as good as the killer quality 12-28-1978 show, but it's still worth a listen just to say you did...

I think I was one of those who came in a with a lukewarm review (3 stars). It's a good audience recording for 1978, and the setlist is loaded with potential, but I found it to be somewhat of a letdown. I should note, however, that I haven't listened to it in some time, and it may have been a victim of my own high expectations.

I absolutely love this show. It's not a barn burner but it certainly has some fine moments. Had it for years.

I personally like this show a lot and it's a decent AUD recording. I think this one is a victim of the typical case of "being overshadowed by the next night's show" syndrome.

Check it out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

A SBD used to be on the archive with the last 3 songs spliced from an audience tape. Some of it is worth the listen and other parts not again. A highlites CD can be compiled from the SBD if you run into it another time...
